Why a standard MRI doesn’t always work
A 60 cm diameter tunnel – bodybuilders, strength athletes and people with a shoulder width of 130+ cm simply cannot physically fit inside. Table weight limit – 130–150 kg in standard machines. Coils that you have to squeeze into – uncomfortable, sometimes impossible. The APERTA open 1T MRI eliminates these limitations.

Please contact us and we will check the specifications. The open scanner eliminates most restrictions.
Does the scan affect my training?
No. You can return to training straight away.
Can I have it done during a competition period?
Yes, MRI does not use radiation – it is completely safe.
Creatine/protein before the scan?
Permitted.
Do anabolic steroids affect an MRI?
They do not affect the imaging, but please inform the doctor to ensure a complete clinical picture.
What if I have full-body tattoos?
We accept them. Some metallic inks may cause slight heating – please let us know.
I have piercings – do I need to remove them?
Yes, all metal items.
Do you work with trainers and physiotherapists?
